These gouges are made of CPM M4 HSS, which takes a keener edge & stays sharp
up to 3X longer than conventional HSS. Spindle Gouges have narrow flutes
ground above the centerline of the tool, leaving more mass & stiffness than usu-
al in a shank. The 3/8” Bowl Gouges have a relatively tight flute, designed for easier
fine finishing. 1/2” & 5/8” Bowl Gouges have wide, more traditional flutes.

4-JAW SCROLL CHUCKS FOR THE LATHE
These self-centering scroll chucks provide secure gripping power &
versatility when holding stock for turning. Both the Talon, our most INTERNAL
popular model, & the Stronghold use a large T-handled chuck key. Op- CHUCKING
tional jaw sizes gives these chucks a wide grip range. Threaded mounting
adapters, sold separately, insert into the chuck body, which then screws EXTERNAL
onto your lathe’s spindle. Extra adapters offer an economical way to use CHUCKING
