Free-Hand Routing with Computer Guided Accuracy!
CNC guided cutting is incorporated into a hand-held router format, giving
unparalleled accuracy for cutting & creativity for your woodworking.
Using an onboard camera, computer & strips of the patterned “Shaper Tape”
applied to the working surface, Origin locates precisely within the work area. It
makes continuous adjustments as it cuts on your pattern line, you need only
guide the Shaper “near the line” of the pattern on the color screen. The ac-
tive CNC motion control guides the unit, keeping the cutter precisely on
the cut area at all times.
Designed in Do simple designs on the screen, transfer design files from the Shaper-
cooperation with Festool! Hub online library via WiFi or a USB thumb drive, or make designs on a
computer using vector graphic files (.SVG) to import to Origin.
