Over the last 50 or 60 years, woodworkers have lost the tradition of shaping their scraper to their needs & have
had to make do with a rectangular scraper. Most of us bow the tool with our thumbs to present a curved cutting
edge to the wood, at great expense to the thumbs.
Crucible Tools' Card Scraper is gently curved along both edges and has a second accelerated curve at the
corners. It works brilliantly on flat & curved surfaces and you don't need to bend it with your thumbs!
1095 spring steel is cut to shape using waterjet for precision, then hardened & tempered
to Rc 48 to 51. Tool edges are hand ground & polished & faces are blued for rust-resis-
tance. Includes a magnetic pad, which acts as a heat sink, keeping it comfortable to use on
long jobs. A heavy duty paper envelope protects the edges in your tool chest or cabinet.
